Day Trips

Since the beginning of our history, our ancestors have identified sacred sites to use for spiritual rituals. They have been instrumental in shaping our evolution into modern humans and have held the key to the past – into the known and lost knowledge. The knowledge that we are still searching for.

Glencairn Pyramid and Eye of Providence – Cape Peninsula

Glencairn is a small seaside village located on the Cape Peninsula. Backed by mountains and displaying fantastic sea views, this is a wetland conservation area with stunning hiking trails. This setting is home to over 2250 indigenous plant species, resident clawless otters, birds, mongoose, and buck.

Also found here is a powerful pyramid-shaped rock with the eye of providence within it. This site holds significant energy and, when seen on the summer solstice sunset, with the sun through the eye, is a spiritually moving and enhancing experience. Glencairn Pyramid is powerfully energetic all year round, and once you have viewed the world through the eye of providence, your outlook on life changes.

Book this trip with us and enhance your journey into the realm of the powerful Mother Earth and her guides. We will share insights with you and help you connect through meditation, sitting in solitude, or embracing this marvel of energy surge.

The Great Monolith of Divine Femininity and Caves – Llandudno Beach

Llandudno Beach was the land of the Khoikhoi, indigenous people who lived in caves along the coastline and recognised this area as a place of spiritual significance.

One such place of reverence is a monolith in honour of the Divine Feminine, where people have gone to worship in hopes of becoming fertile. It has the nurturing power of feminine energy that allows everyone to feel a connection to the feminine energy within us.

Allow us to guide you as you choose to do yoga, spiritual alignment, or healing at this sacred site. Let the power of the feminine imbue you with positivity.

Peers Cave and Ascension Cave– Fish Hoek

Peers Cave is a sacred ancestral burial site, home to Africa’s most Southerly rock paintings. It overlooks the valley of Fish Hoek and is a powerful and magnificent place, chosen to offer shelter or refuge for all who seek it.

The area around it has amazing rock formations and overhangs, particularly the Cave of Ascension, a ritual cave associated with fertility and rebirth. It is a symbol of the divine feminine and once you explore the area, you will realise why that is the case.  The cave is orientated to centre on the setting sun of the summer solstice, where the sun penetrates the cave. This setting is associated with enlightenment and the ascension of the soul.

Visit this sacred site to pay homage to the Mother of Time. Many of our guests have found an awakening and enlightenment here that has transformed their lives. Contact us today to be one of the many who have ascended.

Caves of Lion’s Head, Table Mountain

Lions Head, a majestic peak overlooking Cape Town, holds profound cultural significance, deeply rooted in the region’s history and mythology. The Khoisan considered the mountain a gateway between earth and the divine, inhabited by ancestral spirits and used for ritual ceremonies.

As a place of spiritual enlightenment, inner-peace journeys in the Cape often include this experience. The granite that makes up Lion’s Head is relatively resistant to erosion and has a distinctive pink shade of colour.  It also has a coarse texture, with large crystals of feldspar and quartz visible to the naked eye. This has a very powerful rejuvenating effect when witnessed in real life.

There are incredible rock formations and caves that act as pathways to observe the passage of time and the movement of the sun and the stars. Caves such as “Wally’s Cave” and “The Ledge Cave” look out over Table Mountain and the ocean. The energy here is extremely powerful and the positioning is wonderfully dynamic. We explore the rituals of protection and rebirth that the Shamans and Healers of old used to perform.

Suikerbossie – Hout Bay

Suikerbossie is an amazing mountain that connects to the vast, diverse, and energy-rich Table Mountain, allowing you to access caves, waterfalls, and the most diverse scenery.

A firm favourite for most Raudri Spiritual Wellness guests, Suikerbossie allows visitors to linger and feel a connection to nature like nowhere else. You are on mountains, overlooking the ocean, feeling a sense of the enveloping nature of the bay. This is a sacred and powerful place for rejuvenation, and this is what we do here – a practice to give homage but also draw on the energy of life.

Myburgh Ravine and Judas Rock are a few of the places we rest and take in the magic of the land. Hout Bay lays sprawled before you. Within the forest and through the trees, one remembers how to appreciate the gift that is our present.
